Works as expected on my 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue. Here are the instructions I used: Oldsmobile Intrigue 1997-2002 - Instructions for choosing a transmitter for remote keyless entry. Remember that if you are installing a new transmitter in your vehicle, you must take any additional transmitters with you as they will also need to be adjusted during these steps. Once you have coded the transmitters, an unsuitable transmitter (even a previously working one) will no longer be able to open your car. A maximum of four transmitters can be connected to each vehicle.1. Close all doors while sitting in the driver's seat.2. INSERT the key into the ignition switch, but DO NOT TURN it.3. Press and HOLD the UNLOCK button on the driver's door. KEEP holding it until instructed to release it in step 7.4. REMOVE the key from the ignition switch.5. DO NOT turn the key in the ignition switch again, then remove the key.6. Insert the key into the ignition switch for the third time, DO NOT TURN it and LEAVE it in this position.7. RELEASE the UNLOCK button. The RING should beep 3 times to indicate you are in Matching mode. If you don't hear any tones, go back to step 2 and try again. If this still fails, try step 3 before step 2.8. For each transmitter, PRESS and HOLD the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for 10-30 seconds until the BEEP sounds twice to indicate the transmitter was successfully encoded.9. Repeat step 8 for all additional transmitters.10. REMOVE the key from the ignition switch to exit programming mode.
