Firstly the protective case is unique and very beautiful - if you need this feature then this is a really good choice. I compare this webcam to my other Logitech webcam. It's crisp 1080p, which is good for web conferencing. So far I have a Logitech 720p and the picture is smoother, if less sharp. This webcam also does not perform white balancing like Logitech does. This webcam has a cool tone while Logitech has a warm tone. So I think Logitech is putting on a better face. Considering this webcam is under $40, it's a great buy - it's reliable, easy to use and set up - just works right out of the box. You just can't get a comparable webcam from Logitech for such a low price. So my conclusion is that this is a good buy on a budget. I have 2 computers with webcams and I keep and use them weekly. Updated stars to 5 as this works great.
