Tight and uncomfortable. I thought it was weird until I realized that even though I ordered a 9 and the box says 9, the tongue says 6.5. They fit like 8. They are sturdy too. I flipped the switch and got a shock! Then I realized that I was standing in the water. Would I have been more shocked if I hadn't been protected by shoes? Probably. Judging by the box and tag on the sneakers, they are made in China.
