I bought a used Wii and the pad started to forget where you are touching it. I took it apart and it looks like the soda spill took its toll. This touchpad was "easy" to install, I feel quite comfortable. Put the original under the hair dryer for 10-30 minutes, loosen the glue and you have gold. The only problem with the panel is that it takes a little more effort to register touches. For example, you must PRESS down. It is currently used to advance through Paper Mario for the device to cycle through its steps. So far, so good!
