Recommended, it is accurate when reading the voltage.
The reason I bought this voltmeter is we are heading into winter weather and I want to monitor the battery voltage to make sure both the battery and alternator are within the set parameters lie. I don't want to get stuck when the temperature drops below zero. The meter is accurate when reading voltage, I have not tested its temperature reading. The reason I gave it 4 stars was because I felt the display was too bright, I would give it 5 if there was a way to adjust it to my needs.
