I ordered these to reassure my dogs when I need to lock them up. Unfortunately, they seem more nervous when something is vibrating in the cage. I think this is a great idea and I believe it can work for single puppies and those that have recently been separated from their parents. but my dogs are seven and eight years old and it didn't work for them. They seemed to be chasing the box's pillow to destroy anything moving the cage. Maybe that will change as they get older. for now, however, disturbing the cage (since they are rarely in it) is more than enough for them. They also don't seem to like the surprise of this device. I am sure that most dogs will not have this problem unless they are behaving in an unusually destructive manner. I rate this product four stars for creativity and functionality. although it didn't work for my dogs. As always, your mileage and preferences may vary.
