I don't know if my 5 units are bad. We bought two packs and three packs for our five windshields. I already have your set of batteries. While these candles look great, my AAs only burn to death for a few days. Both my rechargeable and brand new alkaline batteries, these vandals eat them up in just a few days. The blocks must be a bad batch, possibly an internal short. My old Panasonic LED candles lasted all season on one set of batteries. They advertise over 500 hours of use and should last that long. But no. I have 5 candles, 2 batteries each. I have the third reboot in about 10-12 working days. That's $30 for batteries in less than two weeks.
