My wife is a fan of candles and over the years we have replaced many of our "real" candles with batteries. The biggest plus is that they run on AA batteries and we use Panasonic Eneloop batteries because they are the best and most durable! It is also nice that they work 6 hours and switch off 18 hours by themselves. They shimmer slightly in the light, making them look somewhat realistic. Three sizes of silicone bases help to adapt them to any candle holder. Which is nice :-)

I have been using these candles for many years and I really like them. One of them suddenly started shutting down as soon as it was placed upright. I asked a question to see if anyone else had this problem and if I could fix it. I figured there was something I could do to get the connections in the candle working again. I don't know if my 5 units are bad. We bought two packs and three packs for our five windshields. I already have your set of batteries. While these candles look great, my AAs only burn to death for a few days. Both my rechargeable and brand new alkaline batteries, these vandals eat them up in just a few days. This is a thin wax over a layer of plastic. Mine are yellow not orange like some reviews said. They are beautiful and multiple (3 for each candle) pads on the bottom allow you to insert them into different sized candle holders.
