Good for intimacy.

I wanted to use this smaller antenna in close proximity to other hams so my signal doesn't travel too far. If you keep your hand in your shirt/jacket pocket, you don't have to worry about the antenna poking you in the face. If you want to prevent moisture from getting between the antenna connection and the radio, use an O-ring. A drop of dielectric grease on the joint won't hurt either. I am happy with my purchase.
