This is a great and almost essential tool when using a meat grinder to stuff sausage casings. So one person can do what two people would normally have to do. It's easier for me to stop and start the sausage flow to avoid tearing the casing or getting air in the casing. This is a momentary switch: press down to apply power and release to turn off. Keep in mind that this is a 15A snap action switch only, so it can be used with any product up to 15A where a footswitch can be useful. It is also identical to the Cabelas footswitch which is sold for a much higher price. I use this LEM footswitch with a Cabelas Commercial Grade 1HP grinder.
