I have an iPad 12.9 (4th gen) and I ordered a pink keyboard case and it works very well. I was able to put my iPad in the case without any problems and it is also very easy to take it out of the case. The sleep/wake mode works great and you should be able to charge your Apple Pencil (2nd generation) without taking your iPad out of the case. The keyboard attaches to the case with a magnet, and trust me, it won't fall off! It comes with a charging cable and charges very quickly. My only downside is that the keyboard didn't come with instructions on how to use the various functions displayed on it. Instead, I have to randomly press the buttons to see what they do. Most do NOTHING. Again, it would be nice to have instructions on how to use the various features.
