So when my beloved 9 year old 11.6" MacBook Air shut down and wouldn't turn back on, it broke my heart. BUT the battery was still alive, so there was a chance it wasn't the SSD The irony is that along with the constant use of Time Machine and cloud backups I was also in the process of cleaning up to create a disk image just didn't make it in time This case arrived quickly and in under 15 In minutes I removed the SSD and booted into the case, plugged it into another laptop and - JOY!Now I have access to everything when setting up a new laptop.Well worth it.
