Bought this about 2 months ago and wanted to wait to review until after I used acouple times to give true review. The noise level is low but can hear the vibration noise when the pump is on. Battery life last about 2 or 3 hours unplugged from the wall. I have a 10 gallon tank and kept my fish alive on a 10 hour trip. But had to use the car charger acouple times to stop it from turning off. Also it will go for alittle bit then turn off and turn back on after acouple minutes so it's not running constantly. Worried if we have a power outage for longer then 6 or so hours. It comes with everything you need so you don't need to buy anything to go with it. I did have a battery operated one that lasted longer then the charged one
