Overall, 5 stars. It's perfect for what we wanted - to frame our TV & create an entertainment center that focused on our books, plants, & pictures. The assembly was weird. I'm an Ikea put-together-er professional (or at least I consider myself one), and I follow directions well. Some of the holes didn't line up with ease and you had to force hold while you're assembling. Now, you didn't have redrill or anything like that, just use some strength. If you have little kids, I'd secure them to the walls. I don't so I'm not too worried about that. There's a larger gap if you have floor molding between the back of the shelf and the wall. So if you put pocket books on there, then there's a possibility they might slip back, but other than that, these were exactly what we were looking for and I'd recommend them!
