We have 11 Arlo cameras in our house including a doorbell and a headlight cam. Some of these cameras will only charge with the original Arlo charging cable. We have a few that we have assembled ourselves by buying cameras but when it comes time to charge the headlight cam this can be a problem because we installed it above the door in our shed. That means we have to lower it down and use one of those special cables. Then we came up with the idea of getting this extra long cable so we don't have to take the headlight apart to charge it. The cable is excellent, it charges the camera. The extra length is really useful for the purpose mentioned above. We had no issues with this cable and it was a nice addition to our camera chargers.
