This is really a great pair of protective materials for MacBook Pro. I used mine on a 2017 13" MacBook Pro. The skin pieces attach to the top and bottom of the computer in seconds. They also seal securely. I ordered black and it's a bit see-through. It looks dark gray to me Those parts of the shell are also easy to detach if you ever need to do so.I really like that the bottom has four legs and air vents to elevate the laptop a few more millimeters off the table and supposedly allow for a bit more airflow. One of the surprises of this product is that it comes with a soft keyboard cover, it's easy and nice to put on the keys, I actually think it makes typing on these new versions of MacBook keys even easier, also a note to customer service.
