Used the product to install metal roofing and soffits etc. I really like this add-on tool for the Dewalt Impact 20v. It's not perfect, but it works very well. Flat metal, these things ROCK! Because the ribs on metal roofs that go right through the jaws didn't open wide enough, but you could carve them out, bend the metal, and cut them (a metal blade on a circular saw works fine, but the roof maker doesn't recommend it). - My metal was cut to an inch by the manufacturer, so I only carved a few pieces and it was a premium heavy metal gauge.). To cut ribs at an angle, the jaws open wide enough and cut well. For flat sheet metal, they are also ideal for thicker sheet metal. The sacrificial piece bends a bit, but it's still scrap, otherwise it could be straightened. I helped Dewalt sell 2 of these to friends who saw them in action.
