The best I've found. I will review my experience with 2 children over the age of 3 comparing the Baby Mate and Rover furniture protectors. Baby Mate: Less than I expected. Not as soft as other products I've used. This bothered me until my child hit his head and seemed to move very gently. Easy to use. Haven't had to shoot yet. sticks! My 9 month old spends at least 4 minutes 12 times a day trying to remove it. Fortunately without success. I love her! Pure color is the least flashy of anything I've found. Cons: I wish they made a product that could be lowered. A little further, since I have a detailed decorated table with berries, the lid doesn't go far enough to hide the sharp edges. 5 stars overall because they stay in place! Rover: very soft, soft. Easy to use. Unfortunately it's not that difficult to remove as my 9 month old is finally able to do it after a lot of concentration. I love that they offer long strips to protect the chimney but the little one doesn't. Color choice brown and black. I have brown and it goes well with brown furniture but contrasts with my brick fireplace with white trim. 4 stars for length, 3 stars for stickiness. In the future I will buy another baby.
