Tripod came broken good for me

The monitor is fine, but my tripod is broken. The tripod was a key selling point for me. My problem is that the angle of the monitor is not adjustable, it shakes. I just did some research. The culprit is a fully stripped set screw. Bad design, so it's not clear if the unbroken version will 100% solve the problem.
