This charger is so simple it just works. You slide each controller down vertically to its original position and they charge. Easy! When the battery needs charging, the indicator turns red. When complete, the indicator color will change to green. The only reason I give one star is that the green light stays on whether the controller is left in the charger or removed. It's always green, which is a bit annoying in a darkened cinema room.
