This set contains two o-rings but only one will fit. Since it takes two to work (one inside to seal the bearing to the housing and the other outside of the housing to the primary) it's safe to assume the two kits supplied will do the trick, NOT THAT! The HDOE o-ring that fits in is a discontinued part only available in their starter clutch kit. When I contacted their technician with this email: The 79-2104 starter kit comes with 2 o-rings of the same size, one for the outside of the case (HD part number 27444-00Y) and the other the supplied o-ring Ring is used to replace the o-ring inside the housing (HD part number 10957) which has a smaller circumference. HD is no longer selling #10957 as a single, the only way to get it is with their CD bundle. I bought your kit thinking I was getting an excellent piece of equipment and that it was a complete kit. Thank you for answering me. HIS ANSWER WAS Hello! The reason you have two identical o-rings in our kit is simply because they are packaged in sets of two as they are used in pairs in several of the other sets we offer. One of these will essentially be thrown away as you will only be using it for the starter's nose. The inner O-ring, P/N 10957, was replaced by Harley with P/N 11116 and is available from your Harley dealer if yours is damaged. They are also available on the James Gaskets secondary market. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Other than that, the product is well made, just missing the right o-ring that keeps the primary oil out of your starter.
