The background of the tank is made of non-adhesive fabric.
This should be the backdrop for the aquarium. It's printed on fabric (the clue should have been polyester) not paper. I put it on my tank and the image doesn't shine through the tank even with LED lighting so he just darkened the tank instead of making a painterly background. It also didn't stick to the tank and kept falling. The return does not cost any money.
