These melamine foam "magic erasers" are great for cleaning objects. Why pay so much for a well-known brand when you can literally buy the same thing for a penny. They work best with lots of water and can remove just about any dirt from your surfaces. All those burnt, stubborn, sticky stains and streaks can be easily removed with water from plumbing fixtures, cabinets and even walls with these sponges. I had to learn to walk gently on the walls because as I removed the dirt, I also removed the shine. Be careful, just like real sandpaper, you can remove too much. Eventually they break up.
