It worked for a while
This wine bottle opener is technically a dream. However, about a year later, I noticed that the corkscrew that used to aim for the dead center of the cork is now inserted into the rim of the cork, right where it meets the glass bottle. I've looked at the device and can't find a reliable way to redirect the corkscrew to go in anywhere other than the rim of the cork. So now it's useless. Also ensure that the device has never been dropped or subjected to pressure that could change the direction of rotation.
