I make mine based on reading good, bad, and recent reviews. ***As a previous reviewer noted, this Kaffè Stainless Steel French Press is similar to the Healthy Human/Hydro Flask/Miir/Yeti presses. Very well made, feels good in the hand when in use and keeps the coffee warm between the first and second cup. I have given up the glass press where I was always afraid of breaking the handle or breaking the glass if I press too hard. This does not apply to this press. The first use of this stainless steel was the touch. I used a 1:16 coffee to water ratio and it worked great. True coffee lovers know that this is quite a science. I saw one reviewer (who gave a mediocre rating) mention dimensions, but wasn't impressed with the exact quantity produced. This makes this press perfect for 1 person to have 2 coffee cups or to fill a large glass to go. If you're looking for 12 cups, stick with the automatic dripper.
