Stretchy means it tries to compress everything it stretches on and maybe I missed something but it's a bit tight for an adult. Both myself and a colleague bought it and it suits both of us. It may be slightly larger to comfortably fit a grown man. My 12 year old son can carry it with no problem and a "smaller" person 100-125 pounds might have no problem. A value of around 200 and above will feel tight, especially if the material folds on its own and you have more than one layer. Everything else is as described.
