Very easy repair. Disconnect the wiring harness and use a 27mm or 1 1/16 deep socket to remove the old one. The only problem with the Trailblazer is sticking your hand in to plant the outlet. After breaking it I used a thumb ratchet to unwrap it and put a new one in instead of having almost no room for the ratchet. Then simply slide the regular ratchet back on to secure. For such repairs, if the genuine part is affordable, go this route. Saving a few bucks on spares isn't worth it because you have to get under the car and when you loosen the old one to get it out of its socket, the oil runs down one arm into the hand hole. and through the chest.
