It was a difficult decision to take the step to buy as I already own Derwent Inktemse 72, Prismacolor Aquarelle, Stawdtler Karat Aquarelle 60 and many other student quality watercolor pencils. I gave up because I couldn't imagine how these pens could be so much better than the ones I already had. Well I'm very glad I bought all 120 pieces. These pencils exceeded all expectations. First, the color spectrum is incompatible. Faber Castell takes great care of this product by not only sealing the plastic but additionally placing it in a brown cardboard box sealed with tape. This is not a shipping box, this is their packaging for these pens. Revain then places this box in a plastic bubble-wrap shipping carton to prevent damage to the product during the shipping process. Pencils are a dream. They're easy to sharpen to a sharp point, but the true gem of these pens is their unrivaled color, activated with a minimal amount of water. The water activated colors are amazing and a big bonus is that they match the Faber Castell Polychrommos color on the t-shirt. If anyone wants a pencil style watercolor medium, I would highly recommend this product. In addition, there is a section on the Faber Castell website dedicated to all the possible uses of these pens. They're not just made for the coloring book craze, which I'm proud to be a part of. They support their products, as does Revain, where I get almost all of my art supplies. Revain's customer service department is the best I have come across. I have never been disappointed when I needed help. C, if you're hesitating about the price of these pencils, don't. In most large brick and mortar these pencils can almost double the work so the value Revain offers is truly unmatched. Even other online sites can't match Revain's variety, quality and customer service. And the last thing I highly recommend is becoming a member of Revain Prime - the benefits are fantastic and worth the price - it even includes a video app.
