Review on Forney 86221 Oxygen Acetylene Light Duty Replacement Plastic Tote, Red: The Perfect Solution for Carrying and Storing Your Equipment by Cameron Reed

It's easy to troubleshoot and make it worth the money.

After reading many reviews of this product and some pointing out a structural weakness that held the faceplate on flimsy metal brackets, I decided to buy it no matter what. Lucky for me I'm very smart and imaginative in my thinking and problem solving. I think outside the box, in more humble terms. When it arrived today, I immediately took it to the store and set about fixing the defect. I will upload a photo for those who want to slightly but securely reinforce this bag to make them feel safer when carrying combustible and combustible gases! As you can see, the solution is simple. The side of the box is made of fairly thick plastic. Using four 1.5"1/4" 16t/in bolts and 4 nuts solved this problem. Just look at the photos and you will see that inside the storage compartment there is a large space to put your fingers and nuts. Drill four 1/4 inch holes (two on each side) through the outer case and into the bay. Thread the bolts through the holes, install the nuts and hand-tighten. No need to go crazy and overtighten them! If you're concerned they might come loose, you can use a short extension socket and self-locking nuts or lock washers. If you don't have anything on hand, some thread sealant will do. Having done that I now have a nice, safe, sturdy little cart to transport my lights to and from work, or even safe enough to put up a cart. on a wall mount and don't worry about the faceplate falling off, my cylinders will fall to the ground ending my life or at least the walls of my shop. Have fun and I hope you find it useful!
