Review on Gentec 227C 150 Regulator Light Applications by Paul Hyde

. I've had one of these regulators for about 9 months, went into service yesterday and it failed and burst a 300psi hose. My ears are still ringing after 24 hours. It was like firing an M80 next to an ear. I can't stress enough how dangerous this is. It doesn't have a pressure relief valve. If you have one of these you should put a pressure relief valve in there, there's a plug in the side port, maybe you could put it in there. I want my money and hearing back. Very disappointed and nervous that this has permanently damaged my hearing.
