I used these to replace the LED bulbs in the light bar under the kitchen cabinet. This system runs on 12-15V AC, and with outlets about 3-4 inches apart, there wasn't enough light. The tape was originally developed for 168/194 bulbs. With these new bulbs I was able to remove most of the old bulbs and still have plenty of light. I plan on removing the rest because with six new bulbs I can cover the 12 feet of the counter with lots of nice warm white light. These bulbs are larger than my old ones so I had to bend the heat shield a bit to fit my sockets to put the bulbs in. They also stick out and are visible under the edge of the cabinet, but I plan on installing a small, simple screen or strip to block the light. This is a big improvement over my old lamps.
