This is a medium quality pen best suited for occasional use by home mechanics. I bought this because the price was much lower than real "professional" quality gauges and because I don't need a professional gauge set for heavy use. I need a set of feeler gauges to check spark plug gaps periodically (a few times a year) and adjust valve gaps on some of my small engine machines (lawn mowers etc). I probably use these probes every 2 months at best. For these purposes, this set of probes is completely sufficient. The edges of the blades are smooth, burr-free, the dimensions are engraved and easy to read. The only downside is that the sensor kit came in a heavily oiled bag (as mentioned in other reviews). It's probably machine oil to prevent corrosion in transit, but be prepared to wipe down the sensors before first use and you can wear a set of disposable gloves. I am very happy with these sensors. They do the job and were priced right for a homeowner with some semi-regular uses.
