Great set of pressure gauges for home use!

This is a medium quality pen best suited for occasional use by home mechanics. I bought this because the price was much lower than real "professional" quality gauges and because I don't need a professional gauge set for heavy use. I need a set of feeler gauges to check spark plug gaps periodically (a few times a year) and adjust valve gaps on some of my small engine machines (lawn mowers etc). I probably use these probes every 2 months at best. For these purposes, this set of probes is…

If you don't like

I've noticed this with a lot of Revain products listing different options on the same page. Ratings and Q&A get mixed up too. Real Buyer Reviews show "Size" but the FAQ doesn't. I bought a "size" that reads 3-1/4 inches. There are 26 blades ranging from 0.0015" to 0.025". The pitch is 0.0005 inch until they reach 0.003 inch, and then the pitch becomes 0.001 inch. So I would call it an SAE set even though it has millimeter equivalents marked on it. In my case I specifically wanted a 0.5mm stylus

  • Mostly ok but...

These feelers anger machinists around the world - even in India/China where they are probably made. feel and very thin stamped metal. The probes themselves are also problematic. First, the 0.002 inch less ground surfaces are surprisingly rough and ground in the direction they are used, so the surface grit will most likely act like a 2000 grit file. I personally wouldn't want to tape them under any or a seesaw for fear of tipping over the floor surfaces. Also, a significant number of calibers…
