I think we have nine of these in various cupboards and cupboards around our house and also on the underside of one of our kitchen cabinets, that's a particularly dark corner of the counter. It's great to just turn the light on or use it as a night light. The ones in the closets (mainly in our pantry where the shelves prevent the overhead light in the closet from reaching all the shelves) are very useful. We have no problem with them falling (some are taped to the drywall, others to the wood of the cabinet frames). Three AAA batteries last a very long time (assuming you don't forget to turn off the lights when you're done!). We recommend!
