I have an inverter and deep cycle battery in a milk crate that I can put in the back of my truck, UTV etc. I have these connectors and some 6AWG wire so I can connect the portable battery to the larger deep cycle battery installed in my Ranger to get longer usage (more hours plus charging from the Ranger's alternator) from the inverter. The jumper cables I used didn't stay attached and were a little fiddly to attach and detach. These quick couplers are much better. They're easy to attach/detach, but they'll never hang around on their own. Three complaints: 1. Rubber dust covers don't stick. (They should cover the connector when they're not plugged in.) I ended up using velcro straps to hold them in place, which is awkward and ugly, but if they weren't, a lot of dust and dirt would get into the plug. not covered.2. Quality Control: One of the four connectors was missing one of the metal tabs that should hold the stylus in place. So, from the kit I only have 3 working connectors. It was enough for my current use cases, but it was annoying.3. No instructions. I figured it out in the end: crimp/solder the wire to the cup on the contact, then insert the contact into the plastic housing until it snaps behind the metal tab.
