Bought this suitcase for my 4 year old son. I needed a case that offered good protection without being too big. My son's previous suitcase, while offering a lot of protection, was huge and would have been difficult for us to pack when traveling. This case protects my son's iPad really well. The combination of hard plastic and silicone offers excellent protection for your iPad. It's also not as bulky as the previous case we had. Unfortunately, I found that the silicone part is not very durable. After two months, part of the charging port cover fell off and the silicone around it started to crack (see photo). The silicone isn't as secure to the rest of the case as it used to be when we bought it, and the silicone piece really holds the whole case together. Unfortunately, given the short time that the silicone part remained intact, I am not happy with this purchase.
