Rugged build, good price

This is a simple well made 4" square VESA mount 100x100. I have it used to mount a 23 inch LCD monitor on the wall behind our home office desk. This is not a zero-backlash mount; it is about 1.75 inches from the wall. (I still had to mount a matching 1/2" plywood square between it and the bracket on the wall as our Asus monitor has the plugs coming straight out of the back instead of pointing down otherwise the power plug will hit the wall would break.) It's solid.) and a secure mount that attaches to the wall with four screws or bolts (hardware included). It is recommended that you try to mount it in a location where at least one or two screws can penetrate the wall stud; This mount's relatively small 4" square footprint means you otherwise have to rely on the "strength" of four tightly clustered plastic expansion anchors in that tiny 1/2" thick section of drywall to keep your monitor from tilting / TV solves. Cavity wall (with a 4" square of drywall attached to it). While it's basically an easily adjustable fixed position mount, if you don't over tighten the hex socket head screw this mount can still be variably tilted on the fly without having to re-use the included Allen key. It might just be a boring incognito painted piece of steel, but it works well, costs right and I love it!

Pros
  • Supports displays from 32" to 60" and weighs up to 175 pounds
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for the elderly
