Review on Truform Slip Sock Compression Stocking Applicator, White by Christine Rowe

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Different than what I was used to, but they work the same.

I own several pairs of open-toe compression stockings made by Juzo which all come boxed with a similar version of this slip sock that's made of a slick heavyweight paper instead of fabric. I have used my paper Juzo "socks" so much and for so long that they've begun to tear and lose their slickery feel. I compared the shapes of both slip socks and they are identical with the only exception being that this fabric sock doesn't offer as much coverage on the top of the foot as does the paper sock. While using this fabric sock felt quite different than the paper ones I'm used to, the function is still the same. These fabric slip socks assist me in putting on my compression stocking just as well as the paper socks did. I'm glad to have another option for getting my compression hose on because without the slip sock it is virtually impossible to do.

Pros
  • Medical Compression Garments
Cons
  • The Truform Slip Sock Compression Stocking Applicator comes in a single size that may not fit everyone. A poorly fitting device may cause discomfort and put undue pressure on the legs
