Review on Case Logic DVB 200 Liner Capacity by Richard Gilbert

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Time consuming but worth it

I bought several of these folders while trying to organize a very diverse and rapidly growing DVD collection. As another reviewer suggested, I took the case out of the DVD boxes and folded them to fit inside the case, with the DVDs inserted into their slots on the other side. The problem is the size of the liner - you can't fold it right in the middle and just adjust it; I found I had to trim the edges a bit. I didn't want my films to be organized alphabetically or by actor or director because it's quite difficult to remove and rearrange pages. What I did was buy an album for each of two genres, so I have albums for: Mystery/Suspense (because I only have a few horror movies I put them in that genre too) Action/Western, Drama, Comedy/Musicals, alt classical/noir etc. Each album has an obvious middle, so it's easy to skip to the second half of the album. Although I don't have the movies in alphabetical order, I can just replace them with whatever genre I want and that makes them easier to organize. My only complaint is that there is no "gap" on the back to insert some kind of label. .I glued the labels on the outside but it would be cleaner with a slit. The zipper can be a bit difficult to manage if you open the zipper too far.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Hard to say
