This review is mainly about the sound quality of this 5 way power divider. When I plugged in my 1991 Panasonic portable CD player, the SL-NP1A, along with the sadly discontinued Audio-Technica ATH-T200 headphones (see in all three dimensions, each instrument's unique timbres became brighter, the dynamic contrast was more dramatic, bass, mids and treble were vastly improved, and the tempo, beat and rhythm had me pounding my computer desk and touching my feet.It was a definite sonic improvement over my 2007 plastic Belkin 12-socket strap, which I still have Use Set up my PC easier and cheaper 3-to-2-pin adapter Glare and slightly grungy highs disappeared when plugged into the outlet and bypassed the power strip as if the window had just been washed with newspaper using Windex It is probably good to consider the suggestion of this product by someone exposing their audio equipment to possible damage Voltage spikes/spikes to provide a significant improvement in audio quality, about halfway between normal line noise and current limiting. my Belkin Plastic PC Strip and Belkin Pure AV Air Conditioner with limited sound and excellent sound quality by connecting each audio component directly to the wall. Well-designed and more expensive air conditioners like the Shunyata, which I've listened to but can't afford, sound even better than outlets. This power distributor has a built in circuit breaker, so it's *probably* safer to plug your audio equipment into a waber than into an outlet. is both fantastic value for money and one of the best audiophile offerings available today. 1/5 the price of a similar base Pangea model with 4 outlets (two rows with two outlets oriented 45 degrees differently) and less than 1/3 the original retail price. PS Audio 10-socket Juice Bar II is not available with the purchase of 2 Waber 5-socket splitters. It is interesting that judging by the different photos there are 3 different versions of the same model and on one version the distance between the bushings is greater than mine. Last but not least, the Waber's metal construction feels more secure than the plastic Long standard in most outlets, and this music lover appreciates the lack of this 5-outlet strip with no external manual switch and lights. I highly recommend this product with the caveat that due to the lack of traditional surge protection it is recommended to unplug it after each listening/viewing session (haven't video tested it yet).
