Simple and works great.
On my boat trailer for a year. I googled how to connect it since I never installed it. It was easy. Removed the rear brake light (Tacoma 2004), used the included connectors and essentially done. Attached it to the frame. I ended up buying a 5 pin cover to keep dirt out during off-hours. Not a single problem. Excellent quality.
