It's odd that the camera's quality is so similar to that of a $150 Chinese webcam of some unknown brand from 2022. Although an improvement, the picture is still grainy and not even close to HD quality. It lacks the audio quality of my last camera (also made in China, but for a far more reasonable price), therefore I will have to purchase a microphone separately. Now you can see for yourself that the choice is between a microphone and a camera that costs several thousand dollars more. However, if you only require a camera for Skype calls, it should suffice.
