Review on Nexen N "FERA SU1 205/55 R16 94W summer by Wiktor Wiater ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I'm satisfied with it, there are only some small flaws.

I chose tires for a long time, I didn’t have any money (is it different?), I thought to take a used one, but there was always neither 1 wheel, nor 2 or 3, 4-ex was nowhere, but a complete set was needed. I wanted to take Minerva (because the winter one turned out to be simply divine), but she was only in St. Petersburg (he was from the Hong Kong Region), and at that moment I didn’t want to wait even once. As a result, after reading a lot of reviews on the Market, I decided to try these. Am I satisfied? Yes. Somewhere here people wrote that after 200 km the tires become much quieter. So - no, it doesn’t (more than 1500 km behind), it’s noisy and that’s all, but I don’t see a very big trouble in this (my car itself is noisy, so to speak). By the way, on the new smooth asphalt, the silence is perfect - this is a fact. Tires give an understanding of where the grip ends, this is undoubtedly a plus. Track - the car shakes when changing lanes. In a straight line - clearly enters into a rut. It is worth making a reservation - I have not seen tires that behave differently. The moral is that you don’t need to buy special tires, but you need to buy other roads, so, again, I don’t blame the tires :) Wet road - they slow down well, I didn’t see hydroplaning on them, they enter turns confidently. The only thing is that it slows down more smoothly (again, I won’t immediately drive on rubber, maybe my brakes are already suitable). Wear resistance - I didn’t drive much, I won’t lie, so it’s not known. However, the protector is quite competent - it does not catch debris. I can't recommend these tires as it's not competent to do so after only 1500 km. However, at the time of 1500 km I will say the following - the usual, normal such tires fully correspond to their money. Well, let's see how it goes.

Pros
  • Price - 215/45/18 ~5600; Appearance (although honestly, I’m not used to talking about tires at all), they look neat somehow, sustained, I really like it; Slip during acceleration is a rarity. Good road holding, informative; Dry braking is excellent.
Cons
  • noisy; Doesn't like a rut; On wet roads, be prepared for longer braking distances (logical, isn't it?).
