I'm a programmer living at my desk My mouse gets a lot of use so also my mouse pad. When the writing stand became too soft from using my current tablet, which I have been using for over a year, I read the reviews about it and bought it. Big mistake. First, the mat is about 2/3 the size of my old one, which might not sound like much, but if you're working with two monitors the extra space comes in handy. I'm also not a fan of the hard plastic base that my mouse sticks to when I get to the edge of the pad. Last but not least, the palm rest is almost flush with the cushion itself. My wrist has almost no grip and after 2 minutes of use I've already gone back to my old tablet and will be ordering an identical one today. If you're into computers, you'll probably get away with this tablet, but if, like me, you're a regular computer user and are looking for a mouse that offers support, comfort, and practicality, then I suggest you keep looking .
