It's *slightly* different from the old design, but it still wins.

UPDATE 10/18/18. I still use this rug daily for work and play with little to no signs of wear. the delighted boy (my nephew) thought he would see how hard he could "squish" the thing. He's lucky I didn't crush him afterwards! Anyway, I liked the seal so much that I started looking for a replacement. I've seen other reviewers express frustration that the 'new' isn't as good as the 'old' but decided to give it a try. I agree a little. The previous design had a larger pad with more gel compliance,

Durable, smooth but good surface size. Cozy.

This is the best mouse pad I have used in terms of comfort, durability and value. This is my second, the first lasted for 3 years of daily use. Its surface is large enough for my needs and compact enough for limited space.

This is how a mouse pad should be

I have several of these. They work great with an optical mouse, and the raised palm rest and mouse pad are much more comfortable than "flat" mouse pads as my hand often moves between the raised keyboard and mouse pad. I lasted the first two for about five years before the gel pad started leaking - that's certainly an acceptable lifespan for this type of product. First unpacked, but after a few weeks it's over. I don't see that as a problem. I have a few in stock in case they are no longer…

Great for my mouse pad and wrist rest.

As a professional fan and very picky about what hardware accessories I buy, I did a little research before deciding to buy this product. The reason for the purchase was that my drawer was small. It measures 11 inches deep and 32 inches wide. So with the cool keyboard I bought here at Revain (Logitech's ultra-slim backlit and backlit keyboard), there wasn't much room for a full-size mouse pad with wrist rest. Meet the Fellowes Black Gel Wrist Rest and Mouse Pad with Microban. It fits perfectly…

Branded Wrist Rest Best in Office and School Supplies

Many gel and foam palm rests on a mouse pad or keyboard are too soft and don't provide support, damaging the carpal tunnel. This pillow gives me the firmness I need and it's not rock hard. It's also narrow, which fits my computer better than a "medium" mouse pad. I used it at work and bought one for home. I especially recommend this if you have carpal tunnel.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • I will be silent

I'm a programmer living at my desk My mouse gets a lot of use so also my mouse pad. When the writing stand became too soft from using my current tablet, which I have been using for over a year, I read the reviews about it and bought it. Big mistake. First, the mat is about 2/3 the size of my old one, which might not sound like much, but if you're working with two monitors the extra space comes in handy. I'm also not a fan of the hard plastic base that my mouse sticks to when I get to the edge…

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to it
Cons
  • I'm nervous

Just wish it was bigger

It works great and meets expectations. I had the old version (longer and wider) but the corners of the last ones were peeling off. I bought this device as a replacement. I just wish it was wider and longer. Otherwise it serves my purpose and goes well with the black mouse.

Good pad, but inferior to previous version

Unfortunately, this latest version of the Fellowes wrist and mouse pad has reduced the best mouse pad ever to a pale shadow of its former glory. Okay, that was a little dramatic, but it's true. The same mouse pad I bought a few years ago was perfect. Sizing was spot on and the palm rest was a wonderful fabric-covered gel with just the right amount of spring. I develop software for over 8 hours every day and this original tablet has allowed me to do it without hurting my wrist. At first glance…

Great product with few flaws

I have been using Fellowes products for over 7 years. Their quality and durability are unmatched in my experience with computers and peripherals. I have a small issue with this mouse pad, but first the PROS + Slim design (I like smaller mouse pads that don't clutter my desk) + Very high quality material and tear resistant + Smooth surface to help mouse glide + Works great with Ball, optical and laser mice. I have to question this design flaw. The edge of the mouse pad is actually higher than…

  • Microban antimicrobial protection keeps product clean

  • Good but not great

What happened to my squishy pad?

I have had several Fellowes gel pads in the past. The old Fellowes gel was soft and comfortable, this one is almost as hard as rock. Since I have large hands, the palm rest is actually a palm rest and my palm starts to hurt with prolonged use. If you're expecting old-style Fellowes, don't waste your money, grinding a piece of wood into a bump is just as if not more convenient than that. Other differences: The palm rest itself isn't removable. .The mouse pad is loose and easy to fall out. The…
