I have an Amped Wireless SR20000G Dual Band Wi-Fi Range Extender. I wanted to increase the range so I bought this antenna. This should give me a much better range since the 12dBi high gain antenna. It fits perfectly, it's the right connector. However, when I used this antenna, nothing seemed to be connected. It's either not compatible with my Amped Wireless Extender or it's defective. I have other working antennas so I know my equipment is not the problem. So what's the problem? Possibly bad wire? I'm not sure. Maybe it's a 4G LTE antenna sold as a WiFi antenna? It is very similar to several other 4G LTE antennas on the market.
