THE BEST SOLUTION TO WI-FI FIO'S RANGE PROBLEMS.

this antenna really works for me I have a Verizon FIOS with terrible range that can't go through a wall from the living room to my bedroom I have a streaming player and I have a wifi signal meter and with FIOS programs further buffered. I called Verizon and they said I needed to buy a range amp which is about $150. I read a review that said you can't boost a FIOS router's signal! I got so frustrated that I was already paying $153 a month for USED equipment. That's right they gave me used boxes…

It's not that hard to find a spot on my desk when I .

I bought this for my Alfa AWUSO36NH 2W power supply when I work with my laptop. These two were made for each other. It's not that hard to find a place on my desk when I need a connection, the antenna is long. Almost a foot and a half, but I'm carrying a 17-inch laptop, so it's not a big deal for me. I like to connect to Wi-Fi and then offer peer-to-peer networking to my friends in the room. Like all antennas. , you should at least do a little research before settling on one. A high gain antenna

May or may not help

Did you choose this antenna because of the many positive reviews. The antenna I received did not affect the range or strength of my Wi-Fi signal in any way. I was using a WiFi signal strength app and the signal dropped when trying to connect. The roughly 6 inch antenna my router had worked better. I tried different ways and places and nothing worked. I would send it back but not worth the hassle. It might just be bad, but for me it goes in the bin.

Didn't work for me with networking products

Installed one of these on my Verizon WRT router and followed suggestions on forums and elsewhere on the internet to improve signal strength and distance. This may have increased signal strength by 5%. In the bedroom that had signal issues, the signal strength on my iPhone was 2/3 before installation, now the signal strength is 3/3 from time to time. However, when it drops back down to 2/3 (which is fairly common), the signal disappears entirely. I went from a "usually good" connection to a…

Yes, this antenna works amazing!

First off, yes this antenna works great. This extended the range of my Comcast connection by over 100 feet, gave me full range signal strength, and saved me $400 a month because I can now ditch my AT&T hotspot. I read all the reviews including the top one that said the antennas didn't work. Why would a professional signalman buy this antenna? Well, I'm not sure about that, but I can say that he's completely wrong. However, I discovered one thing: There is a magnet at the base of this antenna…

It works! Electronics

The antenna I received looked a little different than the pictures here but the packaging said the gain rate was the same so I unscrewed the old antenna, screwed in the new one and then wired some tests. .Results so far are solid. Using the Wi-Fi Signal app on my Nexus 7 tablet, I found that the signal strength increased by about the promised 10dB. However, the biggest improvement comes from download and upload speeds tested by another app. With the old antenna I had bandwidth problems even…

Fake Antenna Alpha!

This is not an Alpha antenna. It's just a cheap antenna that I can buy anywhere for a much better price. They simply printed the name "Alpha" on the antenna. The antenna in the picture is not what you get.

I am very happy. Note that when using .

I recently moved my gaming PC to a hard-to-reach place that is only accessible via Wi-Fi. When I tried to connect, no connection was available and I had to position the computer at the wrong angle to receive a fuzzy signal, leading me to look for other options and ended up sticking with this product. I had very high hopes for it. Product upon purchase and was a bit disappointed based on some previous reviews. So I ordered 2 since my PC WiFi card had 2 antennas. After connecting the first of the

Huge improvement! on network products

Just received yesterday. I used this to replace the leftmost antenna on my ASUS n66r wifi hotspot. I was having trouble with my doorbell near our house. Before changing the antenna, I got about 1-1.5 Mbit/s on the doorbell (using my iPhone to measure). Our router is in a niche behind the flat screen TV. After replacing the antenna, moving the antenna behind the TV with the cable that came with it, and laying the antenna down to try and get a perpendicular direction from our front door, I'm now…
