Review on Gadgets World FBA_ALFA ARSN19M OMNI Directional High Gain by Tim Lea

Installed one of these on my Verizon WRT router and followed suggestions on forums and elsewhere on the internet to improve signal strength and distance. This may have increased signal strength by 5%. In the bedroom that had signal issues, the signal strength on my iPhone was 2/3 before installation, now the signal strength is 3/3 from time to time. However, when it drops back down to 2/3 (which is fairly common), the signal disappears entirely. I went from a "usually good" connection to a "sometimes great, sometimes bad" connection. Needless to say, it *might* work in certain circumstances (that's why I gave it two stars instead of one) and the build quality is pretty good, but it didn't help the wireless coverage in my house at all. I didn't have to be cheap and the first thing I had to do was choose the right solution - just buy a repeater.
