Review on Black and Decker BDCDD12PK Drill Kit by Jason Unruh

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Pretty much everything you could want in an extremely simple home tool kit.

Well I won't repeat what dozens of other reviewers have said. Decent quality set. Don't expect too much from him, but he will do his job. In view of the price, I would highlight drills and ratchet screwdrivers as being of particularly high quality. My only criticism is that the kit is advertised as having thirty-two (32) screwdriver bits. Which is actually true. However, you forgot to mention that literally more than half of those bits are duplicates. I have 12 unique bits and a whopping TWENTY duplicates. Having duplicates of the most common bits is probably a good idea for an easy DIY kit. how is it. But do I really need six Phillips PH2 bits? For buyer's information I received the following screwdriver bits: Flat Head: (2) 6s, (2) 8s, (2) 10sPhillips (4) PH1s, (6) PH2s, (4) PH3sSquare (Robertson) (2) S1s , (2) S2s, (2) S3sStar (Torx) (2) T10s, (2) T15s, (2) T20s = 32 bits total I deducted two stars because I find it questionable.

Pros
  • Practical matter
Cons
  • So far so good
