UPDATE: They don't really work against odors. I'm not mono what they are but they are not a real brand. At best, they refresh the fibers so they feel clean, but the powder is difficult to absorb and the odor goes away almost immediately. Pretty disappointed.—————————————————————- So when I buy them from the store there is usually a plastic wrap to prevent spills. Reading the review about shipping and packaging I figured it wouldn't matter much as long as most of the product is in the container. Upon receipt I was pleased to see very minimal leakage. but after wiping and opening the containers, I saw that there was no foil, about a quarter of the product was missing and finally the smell was very different from the store. This is a problem because now I don't know if I received an original product or a chemical powder whose content cannot be guaranteed. Haven't used them yet but will update as soon as I do. I hope the scent is strong and rich when on the carpet and doesn't smooth or texturize the fibers.
